SASgov Wine and Whine

 SASgov is organizing the first SASgov Town Hall event this year for all SAS graduate students on Tuesday, November 3rd from 6-9 PM. The SASgov Wine and Whine(as we call it) event will be a forum where we can talk about all grad student issues and concerns ranging from academics,funding and professionalization training to issues with office spaces and grad student facilities and gym memberships. There will be free food, beer and of course, wine

GSEG/SASgov Quizzo Happy Hour

Thursday November 5 at 7pm-9:30pm 

Bodek Lounge of Houston Hall


Are you a wealth of trivia knoweldge? Compete against other graduate students from SEAS and SAS in our annual Quizzo happy hour! Come with a team (up to 6 people), or form a team when you get here- no previous experience with Quizzo necessary. The top three teams of the evning will win gift card prizes and there will aslo be FREE food and an open bar. 

This is a 21+ event. Admittance will not be allowed without your graduate SEAS/SAS ID AND a government-issued photo ID, even if you do not plan to drink. SEAS?SAS graduate students will be allowed 1 non-SEAS/SAS guest. Sub-matriculate students are not eligible but are welcome to attend as a guest of a current student.




Travel Grant Application Forms are up

Round 1 application window is open from 10/21/15 thru 11/18/15.  Previously submitted applications will also be reviewed during this round.  Decisions will be announced by 11/30/15 (if not sooner).
Maximum eligible award is $300 subject to other conditions of review and/or possible award.  Applications are subject to adjudication; awards are not guaranteed.  Submitted applications become the property of SASgov.



SASgov Spring Happy Hour @ City Tap House, May 1st

Come celebrate the end of classes with a Happy Hour at City Tap House. We have reserved the outdoor patio with fire pits to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. There will be drink tickets for local craft beers and house wine along with lots of appetizers.
