Drew Behrendt is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry in the Rappe Lab. His research focuses on using machine learning and quantum-mechanical simulations for materials discovery and understanding. He continues to serve as the VP of Financial Operations for a second term, which oversees the allocation of grant funds including travel, merit, professional society, and event grants. Additionally, he co-chairs the Finance Committee with the VP of Finance.
