Make your own clay masterpiece!

This workshop at The Clay Studio will focus on hand-building your own clay piece, such as a mug, tile, or sculpture! Participants of all levels of experience are welcome; instructors will be present throughout, with demonstrations at each step. Each participant will keep one piece that they decorate with underglaze. After the workshop, the pieces will be clear-glazed and fired, then delivered to campus for pickup.

Remember to wear clothes that you’re not afraid to get dirty.

The workshop will go as follows:

• 10-15 minute demo by instructor

• 1 hour+ to work on piece with one-on-one assistance by artists

• 5-10 minute demo on decorating

• 20-30 minutes for decorating

Tickets are $8.

We have 40 tickets available; 1 for a volunteer, 10 for non-SAS graduate students, and 29 for SAS graduate students.

Tickets are subject to availability and confirmation of GAPSA affiliation. 

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Limited to ONE (1) STUDENT ticket per student. Policy violations are subject to ticket cancelation.
