Sophie Silver is a fifth year PhD candidate in the Department of Earth & Environmental Science. She studies fracture mechanics and particle attrition on other planets. When not scouring the solar system for vexing rocks, Sophie enjoys bouldering and sport climbing, reading, playing frisbee, and spinning her favorite vinyl. During her third term of service, she aims to work closely with the students of the School of Arts & Science to optimize the use of SASGov funding to best serve students. She works closely with the President and the Finance Committee.
