Dan Premauden
Vice President, Policy
Dan Premauden is a third-year joint PhD student in the History department and the Graduate School of Education. He studies early nineteenth-century public colleges and their early finances through land. He's also interested in contemporary organizational issues concerning governance and assessment in higher education. Dan was previously the representative from the History Department before becoming the Vice President of Policy for SASGov. He's happy to take any questions, feedback, or suggestions you have about what can help make SAS better in academic affairs or student life, and he happily invites you to contact him if you have any interest in helping to improve your graduate student experience! He will be organizing a town hall meeting with the dean in 2025. He is looking forward to working on several projects this upcoming year, such as improving students' understanding of Workday and the experience of joint Ph.D. students.
Outside classes, Dan enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and caring for his gerbils. He also enjoys visiting historic houses and museums and adding to his large postcard collection.
